Rachel Fenske

I am passionate about understanding the intersection of patient care and evidence-based research. As a scientist in the Kuchnia Lab, I am interested in exploring the progression of cellular metabolic dysfunction from bench to bedside and how/when nutritional interventions can be best utilized.

I also work as a Clinical Dietitian in the UWHealthKids Pediatric Diabetes and Pediatric Fitness Clinics.

When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Kyle, exploring Wisconsin State Parks with our dog, Kiesel. We equally enjoy hunkering down at home to watch The Mandalorian and snuggle our 2 cats, Leni and Klaus.
